The three words I picked for this year are Connection, Community & Collaboration. 2013 is going to be a very exciting year for me. I have a business to grow, a teenager to help navigate through her first year of high school and a new relationship to nurture. I’ve picked three words that will support my personal & professional goals and that I hope will help me to continue to learn and grown through the year.
The book I am reading at the moment is “The Impact Equation” by Julien Smith & Chris Brogan. Incidentally, this book is built around the belief that “The people are what matters”. Whatever your goals are, the technology and tactics we use to get there are irrelevant. The authors maintain that to succeed, you have to have goals, ideas, a platform and the human element.
